Angelica Panganiban (born Angelica Panganiban) is an Filipino American actress, model television host and comic. Panganiban is dubbed the "new Queen of Drama" by numerous media publications. Her name is also acknowledged as being one of the Philippines the most skilled and diverse actors. The year 2012 was the year that Angelica Hale was just 4 years old, she fell sick with a double pneumonia attributed to a severe strep pneumonia bacteria infection. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston put her on ECMO assistance for lifesaving treatments. The patient suffered from multiple organ failures and kidneys that didn't recover. It was then a routine of hemodialysis followed by peritoneal dilution. After an 80-day hospital stay Angelica nearly died after which she began a journey towards recuperation. Angelica had been on dialysis for a year-and-ahalf before finally being able to undergo the most important operation of her life, a kidney transplant. Angelica would be receiving the donated kidney from her mother. Angelica and her mother had a successful kidney surgery on September 13, 2013, at Emory University Hospital and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston, two hospitals situated across from one. Angelica Hale pursued her dream of becoming a celebrity ever since.
